Coach Will was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went
to Wilmington University in Delaware where he majored in Advance Communications
while playing college basketball. For Coach Will, Team M’Phasis is a
dream-chasing vehicle and program which has touched many lives including his
own. His greatest memory is watching the young men’s lives change and develop
while they are apart of the program.
Coach DJ was born in New Castle, Deleware. He went to
Arizona State University where he majored in Nonprofit Leadership and
Management. DJ describes Team M’Phasis has a youth development that focuses a
lot on life skills and help the young people involved in the program to became
better, more successful people. His greatest memory is seeing the players that
played through Team M’Phasis go to college and play basketball at the
collegiate level.
Coach Lance was born in Peoria, Arizona. For Lance, Team
M’Phasis is a vehicle for young men and women to grow up spiritual and also
learn leadership skills through the game of basketball. One of his greatest
memories is when Team M’Phasis won a national championship in 2011 but more
importantly he likes seeing the young people who have gone through the program
come back and talk to kids that are playing with the program now about there
struggles and success.
